Browns Sign Brother of First-Round Pick Immediately After 2026 NFL Draft

Most would agree the Cleveland Browns were among the winners of the 2026 NFL draft.

The team made 10 selections over the last three days:

• Round 1, pick 9: Utah offensive tackle Spencer Fano

• Round 1, pick 24 overall: Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion

• Round 2, pick 7: Washington wide receiver Denzel Boston

• Round 2, pick 26: Toledo safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren

• Round 3, pick 22: Florida offensive tackle Austin Barber

• Round 5, pick 6: Alabama center Parker Brailsford

• Round 5, pick 9: Alabama linebacker Justin Jefferson

• Round 5, pick 30: Cincinnati tight end Joe Royer

• Round 6, pick 1: Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green

• Round 7, pick 32: BYU tight end Carsen Ryan

And while the Browns are earning high marks for their draft class, they're already starting to work on their undrafted free-agent class as well.

The team has already signed four players in the hours after the draft ended, one of which stands out above the others - Utah edge-rusher Logan Fano, the brother of Cleveland's first-round pick, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.

A second-team All-Big 12 selection Logan had a breakout season for the Utes last year. He logged 44 tackles, 34 pressures, 21 hurries, eight QB hits, 4.5 sacks, and two passes defended, per Pro Football Focus.

"An edge defender with pro size and strength, Fano is capable of playing standing up or with a hand down," NFL.com draft analyst Lance Zierlein wrote. "He plays with a blend of hurry and heart that keeps him keyed in on the action. However, urgency can become impatience, which pulls him out of position and opens him to counters/misdirection.

"He's quick but lacks up-field juice to challenge the edge. His rush plan is too predictable and overly reliant on feet over hands. He'll shine on special teams and has toughness to defend a pro run game, but Fano needs to improve as a rusher to become a three-down player."

Cleveland also signed Mississippi State running back Davon Booth, USC cornerback DeCarlos Nicholson, and Florida edge-rusher Tyreak Sapp.
