Luka Doncic Makes Classy Gesture After Adou Thiero's Ejection Against Rockets
Ejections for rookies can be harsh, especially during the NBA Playoffs. Adou Thiero faced a similar situation during the Lakers' blowout loss to the Rockets. Luckily for Thiero, his teammate Luka Doncic is ready to handle things from here.
Game 4 not only saw the Lakers suffer a 115–96 loss to the Rockets but also featured a couple of controversial incidents. Deandre Ayton, who was having an impressive game with 19 points, was ejected after elbowing Alperen Sengun in the face.
Moreover, during the final few seconds, Thiero, along with Rockets point guard Aaron Holiday, was ejected for exchanging words after clashing with each other. Considering the Lakers rookie's ejection, it is quite evident he will be assessed a minimum fine of $2,000 as per NBA Rule 12.

But Doncic, who has been missing games due to a hamstring injury, told Thiero he would pay whatever fine the NBA imposes on his behalf. As the face of the franchise, Luka has taken responsibility for supporting younger players. Thiero is expected to earn $1.27 million in his first season.
A win at the Toyota Center would have sealed the series for JJ Redick's team. As they continue their first-round battle against the Rockets, having a player like Doncic in the locker room remains crucial for morale and leadership.
