Texas Motor Speedway Shares Surprising Fan Turnout For Cup Series Race
Today's NASCARCup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway is filled with fans. During the first stage of the Wurth 400, the track made an announcement that the reserved grandstand seating is sold out.
A quick search will tell you that Texas Motor Speedway holds 75,000 in capacity. So, no matter how you slice it - banners on the seats, infield fans, suites, or whatever you want to add, there is a healthy crowd in Fort Worth today.
These fans want to see Carson Hocevar win from the pole. Early on, that looks like it could be the case as he has led a lot of laps early and showed that a little confidence can go a long way after a win.
