'Nothing is Done' - Thierry Henry sends Warning to Arsenal Despite Manchester City's Slip Up
After going 3-1 down, Manchester City managed to get a 3-3 draw with Everton thanks to a late equalizer from Jeremy Doku. The draw means that Manchester City dropped points and gives Arsenal the advantage in the league table.
A loss for Manchester City would have likely ruled them out in the title race since there are only three matchdays left this season. Man City have a game in hand, but Arsenal is now five points clear.
The draw still gives Manchester City life in the title race, but Arsenal fans believe the Premier League is theirs to win.
Arsenal have a more favorable schedule than Manchester City at the end of the Premier League season, with West Ham United, Burnley, and Crystal Palace next.
Despite the 3-3 draw between Manchester City and Everton giving Arsenal fans confidence, Arsenal legend Thierry Henry made it clear that he will not overreact after tonight's result.
Thierry Henry's First Thoughts on Everton 3-3 Man City
The 3-3 draw between Everton and Manchester City marks a crucial result in the Premier League title race this season, which could heavily favor Arsenal.
Club legend Thierry Henry is not getting carried away and expressed that he is not celebrating Manchester City dropping points just yet.
Henry said, "I wouldn't be thinking 'we can afford to drop points now' if I was Arsenal, but it is back in their hands, that is a fact. I am going to stay in my lane. I am not going to celebrate too early. Nothing is done."
Henry expressed worry for Arsenal's next game against West Ham United, which is an away game at London Stadium. West Ham United need a win since they are currently in the relegation zone.
Henry said, "Manchester City dropped two points, but you can't start to think that maybe [you can drop points]. There is no maybe. I am worried for the West Ham game, like I was worried for City [against Everton] today."
