Cristiano Ronaldo's Flashy $1.3 Million Off-Field Purchase Is Among ‘World's Most Expensive'

Cristiano Ronaldo continues to make headlines away from the football pitch. The Portuguese superstar is known for his success on the field, but his life outside the stadium is just as high profile.

Recently, the 41-year-old added another remarkable item to his collection by ordering a bespoke vehicle that is being called one of the most expensive and rare of its kind in the world.

Ronaldo's ability to make such purchases comes from a career of record-breaking success. He spent years at the top of European football with Manchester United and Real Madrid, where he won multiple Champions League titles and established himself as a global icon.

His move to the Middle East in 2023 came with a massive financial package, with reports suggesting his current earnings sit around $200 million per year.

Beyond his playing salary, Ronaldo has built a massive business brand. His "CR7" name is attached to hotels, clothing, and fragrances.

Combined with his career earnings, his total wealth is estimated to be over $1.4 billion.

Cristiano Ronaldo now Owns the Most Expensive G-Wagon Ever Built

Ronaldo's level of financial power has allowed him to build one of the most impressive car collections in the world, featuring rare models from Bugatti, Ferrari, and Lamborghini.

His latest addition is a bespoke Mercedes-AMG G63 Cabriolet, modified by Refined Marques.

While a standard G-Wagon is already a luxury vehicle, this specific version is priced at approximately $1.32 million.

The car is part of an extremely limited run, with only 20 units being produced worldwide. What makes Ronaldo's order stand out is the level of customization.

The vehicle is finished in yellow and blue, which are the primary colors of his current club, Al Nassr. It also features custom "CR7" door sill plates, making it a one-of-a-kind tribute to his career and his current team. The car is a soft-top convertible, a rare feature for a heavy SUV, and includes rear suicide doors for easier access.

For Ronaldo, this car represents his current chapter in Saudi Arabia and his spot as the highest-paid athlete in the world.
