NBA Playoff Team Contacted Bucks About Giannis Antetokounmpo Trade: Report
The Milwaukee Bucks ultimately elected not to trade superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo during the regular season, but it hasn't lessened the ongoing tension surrounding his future with the organization.
Despite that decision, speculation around Antetokounmpo's long-term future continues to grow, with Bucks co-owner Jimmy Haslam indicating the team would ideally like any major decision to be made prior to the NBA draft in late June.
One team that could remain in the mix is the Cleveland Cavaliers, who reportedly explored a trade for Antetokounmpo earlier this season but were met with a steep asking price from Milwaukee.
According to NBA reporter Jake Fischer, the Bucks' reported demand included Cavaliers star forward Evan Mobley as well as multiple draft picks in return for Antetokounmpo - a package Cleveland was unwilling to meet.

The Cavaliers currently trail the Detroit Pistons 1–0 in their second-round playoff series and made a midseason move to acquire veteran guard James Harden in a deal that reportedly included sending Darius Garland to the Los Angeles Clippers.
If Cleveland fails to advance further in the postseason, it could open the door for renewed speculation around a potential blockbuster pursuit of Antetokounmpo. It remains to be seen whether the Bucks would revisit their reported asking price or if Cleveland would be willing to re-engage after previously balking at the cost.
If the Cavaliers were to revisit the idea, pairing Antetokounmpo with Donovan Mitchell - and potentially Harden depending on his player option decision - would create one of the most intriguing superstar cores in the league.
