WNBA Star Kelsey Plum Lands Broadcasting Role During Season

Los Angeles Sparks guard Kelsey Plum is keeping herself awfully busy this year.

It was announced Thursday that Plum is officially joining Amazon Prime Video as a contributor for its WNBA coverage. She'll make appearances in studio throughout the 2026 season.

"Kelsey's had a standout career in the WNBA and is a dynamic presence in women's basketball," said Amina Hussein, the head of on-air talent for Prime Video Sports. "We're building something special with WNBA on Prime, and her contributions to our broadcast as a current league veteran will add to our goal of delivering fans an authentic, player-driven experience."

Plum, a four-time All-Star and two-time WNBA champion, is excited to showcase what she can do as a broadcaster.

"There's so much talent and momentum around the league, and I look forward to bringing fans a current player's perspective while highlighting the personalities and storylines that make the game so special," Plum said in a press release.

Kelsey Plum is off to a great start this season.

Prior to the start of the 2026 season, the Sparks signed Plum to a one-year contract worth $999,999.

Although the Sparks are 0-2 heading into Friday's game against the Toronto Tempo, it's not because of a lack of production from Plum. She scored a combined 52 points in the team's first two games.

We'll see if Plum gets the Sparks in the win column this Friday. Tipoff is set for 10 p.m. ET on ION.
