MLB Home Run Predictions Today: HR Prop Bets for Sunday, May 17
Sunday's "See-Ya Selections" are looking juicy again, and this slate has several hitters stepping into ideal power spots. Between struggling pitchers, rough lefty splits and a few bats absolutely heating up lately, the home run potential is all over the board Sunday afternoon.
We have Jose Ramirez facing a pitcher he's absolutely crushed throughout his career, Juan Soto bringing a hot bat into a matchup against a rookie already struggling badly with lefties, and Miguel Vargas staying red hot against a pitcher he's already taken deep before. If you're chasing home run props Sunday, these are some of the best bats to target for a long ball.

Best Home Run Props Today
Jose Ramirez Home Run Bet (+374)
Ramirez still hasn't gone deep in May, but Sunday feels like a pretty good time to change that against Brady Singer. Ramirez has crushed Singer over the years, hitting .414 with three home runs and a ridiculous .793 slugging percentage against him. Singer has also had major problems with lefties this season and owns a rough 7.04 ERA on the road. Feels like a great spot for Jose to finally snap the mini power drought.
Juan Soto Home Run Bet (+398)
Soto feels ready to stay hot Sunday against Elmer Rodriguez. Soto went deep on Thursday and Friday and gets another favorable matchup, which is where most of his power has come from this season. Rodriguez is making his only third MLB start and has already struggled with traffic, carrying a 5.19 ERA and 2.08 WHIP through 8 2/3 innings. Soto has also been locked in at Citi Field where four of his blasts have come. Feels like a pretty good chance he gives the rookie a rough welcome-to-the-big-leagues moment Sunday.
Miguel Vargas Home Run Bet (+526)
Vargas is absolutely locked in right now, and Sunday feels like another good spot for a home run against Colin Rea. Vargas is hitting .319 in May and already has four home runs over his last seven games, including one in both games thus far in this series. He's also already taken Rea deep before. With the way Vargas is crushing the ball lately, it's tough not to like him for another long ball Sunday.
