NFL Owners Set to Vote on Major Super Bowl Hosting Decision

The NFL could be getting ready to give Nashville its biggest football stage yet. Owners are expected to vote at Tuesday's Spring League Meeting on whether the city will host Super Bowl LXIV in February 2030, a move that would mark the first Super Bowl ever held in Music City.

If approved, it would also give the Titans' new stadium a massive national showcase and put Nashville firmly in the spotlight as one of the NFL's next major event destinations.

The news was confirmed by Ian Rapoport on X who said, "The NFL owners are expected to vote at this Tuesday's Spring League Meeting on Nashville hosting Super Bowl LXIV in February of 2030, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo. This would be the first time hosting for the Music City, a showcase for the #Titans new stadium."

Another Big Event to the Music City

Nashville has been building toward this kind of moment for a while. The city has already become a major destination for live events, concerts, tourism, and big sports weekends, so it is not hard to see why the NFL would be interested. When Nashville hosted the 2019 NFL Draft, the turnout and atmosphere made a strong impression, and that success likely helped push the city further into the league's future plans.

There is also the timing with Tennessee's new stadium. The venue is expected to open in 2027, which would give the Titans and the city a few years to work through the early stages before handling something as massive as the Super Bowl. By then, the stadium should be fully established and ready for a national audience.

For Nashville, this would be more than just another big event. It would be a chance to show that it belongs in the same conversation as other major Super Bowl markets. The city already has the entertainment scene, hotel demand, and fan energy. Now it may get the game to match.

For the Titans, it also adds another layer of excitement around the franchise's future. A new stadium, a growing city, and a Super Bowl-level spotlight would make this a major win all around.
