Floyd Mayweather Declared Father of Child, Ordered to Pay $1M in Child Support

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. is facing a fresh legal and personal scandal after being declared the father of a young child born to a dancer at his Las Vegas strip club, "Girl Collection." Court documents obtained by TMZ Sports reveal a judge officially ruled in March 2026 that the 49-year-old retired champion is the father of Price Moorehead, a four-year-old girl.

The ruling triggers a massive financial obligation for Mayweather, including a staggering sum of back child support. The court ordered Mayweather to pay $1 million in back child support, along with $33,000 a month.

Child Support Details

Despite being served twice with legal papers and ordered to take a DNA test, Mayweather failed to comply, leading the judge to issue a default judgment establishing paternity.

This child represents Mayweather's fifth, adding to his already complex family tree. The child's mother, Paige Moorehead, reportedly sought court intervention in Nevada to establish Mayweather as the legal father.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Moorehead claimed she maintained a lengthy, intimate relationship with Mayweather that spanned eight years until he allegedly ended things upon learning of her pregnancy in April 2021.

She further asserted that Mayweather pressured her to terminate the pregnancy and ultimately fired her from her position at the "Girl Collection" club, where she had worked for four years.

The gap between his payment and the actual judgment forced the judge to grant Moorehead the legal right to place a lien of up to $2 million on property Mayweather owns in California, which will serve as a powerful legal tool to secure the funds for the child's long-term care.

The timing of this paternity test adds another layer of complexity to the undefeated boxer's legal scandals and his planned comeback to the sport.

Mayweather Facing Multiple Battles

Mayweather is currently embroiled in another lawsuit against his former partners at Showtime Sports, seeking $340 million.

Outside the courtroom, Mayweather is also busy fighting exhibition fights, followed by a legitimate comeback fight.

He has an upcoming fight against former K-1 kickboxer Mike Zambidis next month on June 27. He will then fight another exhibition match against retired heavyweight legend Mike Tyson. The latter fight was originally scheduled for May, but has since been postponed to a fall timeline.

He will then face Manny Pacquiao for a rematch on Sept. 25, not in an exhibition fight, but a legitimate professional bout that will be broadcast on Netflix.

With a reported net worth estimated between $400 million and $500 million, Mayweather should have the financial resources to cover the payments for child support.

The boxing icon has yet to make any public statement addressing the default judgment or his new legal obligations, but the court has acknowledged that he has already paid approximately $151,000 of what is owed.
