Indy 500 Fans Not Happy With Danica Patrick's Role Sunday
Danica Patrick is on hand for the 2026 Indy 500 on Sunday.
The iconic American race - one of the biggest in all of sports - is set to take place on Sunday afternoon. Patrick, who made history breaking barriers as an IndyCar and NASCAR driver during her career, is part of the coverage on FOX.
Patrick is one of the main analysts in the pre-race shows airing on FOX. She's had a prominent role in TV since retiring from the sport in 2018. However, Patrick's presence is often met with mixed reviews.
Some fans have taken issue with Patrick's prominent role in the pre-race shows airing on FOX on Sunday morning.
While Patrick still has her supporters, she's often met with a lot of criticism, as fans are speaking out against her on Sunday morning.

Fans have taken issue with Patrick's role on the Indy 500 broadcast on Sunday morning, with some even "boycotting" it.
"Every Indy500, I'm remembered how much of a loser Danica Patrick is," one wrote.
"Did FOX have to invite Danica ? After she got booted from @f1 . She is horrible on tv," one fan shared.
"Turned on FOX and then immediately turned the channel when I saw Danica," one shared.
"Oh we're still giving Danica Patrick a platform? Ew," one shared.
"Wanted to watch the Indy 500 pre-race show. Saw Danica Patrick, turned off the TV. She just totally unlikeable," another shared.
"I turned my TV off as soon as I saw Danica Patrick 🤢," one shared.
Patrick recently lost a TV role, too, as she is no longer a part of Sky Sports' Formula 1 coverage.
"From my first Sky Sports F1 race in Austin to my last 5 years later… I had such a blast! The Sky team was so much fun (thank you all), I saw so many amazing new race tracks and cities, and got to be part of a huge boom in F1!
"I called after the last race in 2025 and said it was time for me to move on and I was so grateful for the opportunity and experience I was given!
"….and now due to my deep exposure to F1, I will be glued to my TV for the season starting this weekend, like every other fan!"
But she continues to be a big part of the Indy 500 coverage, which will continue throughout the morning on FOX.
