Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Reveals Mindset After Thunder's Game 4 Loss
The Oklahoma City Thunder suffered a blowout loss to the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals, surrendering a 103-82 final score at the Frost Bank Center.
The series is now knotted up at two games apiece as it heads back to Oklahoma City for a crucial Game 5 matchup.
While the series score is now 2-2, back-to-back reigning NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is choosing to look at things from a different perspective.
"The series is 2-2. 0-0 basically. It's the first to 2 games now.,” Gilgeous-Alexander said during his postgame press conference on Sunday night.

Gilgeous-Alexander led the way for the Thunder with a team-high 19 points, but it wasn’t enough to notch the Thunder’s third consecutive win in the Western Conference Finals series. The All-Star point guard was out-dueled by Victor Wembanyama, who finished the game with 33 points, eight rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals - including a stunning half-court buzzer beater just before halftime.
“They just punched us in our face early,” Gilgeous-Alexander added postgame. “I think they just did a good job of being the aggressors. They were in us — forcing turnovers, being physical.”
