NFL Insider leaves Door Open for Browns' Myles Garrett Trade
The Cleveland Browns are entering this season with another head coach and another quarterback competition.
The Browns fired Kevin Stefanski and then decided to hire Todd Monken, a move considered very underwhelming.
The Browns passed on defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, despite him being a top choice for several on the team.
One big topic of discussion is pass rusher Myles Garrett, who just set the single-season sack record in 2025 and is arguably the best player at his position.
The Browns delayed Garrett's bonus, igniting trade speculation even more, although nothing has come to light at this moment.
Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated was asked again about a Garrett trade, and he could see it happening at some point.
"I wouldn't rule anything out. And I've said this before, I think it makes sense for Cleveland to move Garrett now," Breer wrote.
"Where you don't want to be is in a place where Garrett falls off, or his trade value tumbles because you waited too long, just as all the young talent comes together. So I'd look at it, for sure. And I wouldn't be stunned if, quietly, they have," Breer added.
Monken also sparked questions when he said he hasn't met face-to-face with Garrett as of now, nearly four months after being hired as the head coach.

What that means remains to be seen, but it sure has been an interesting offseason in Cleveland.
Myles Garrett Not Seen at OTAs Just Yet
The Browns kicked off OTAs, and several players weren't seen, including Garrett.
That trend continued on Wednesday, via Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com. When, or if, Garrett comes to OTAs is something to keep an eye on in Cleveland, and the fact that he hasn't met with Monken sure raised some eyebrows.

Moving on from Garrett makes sense, especially since Cleveland is still in a rebuild and probably far off from a playoff race, although quick turnarounds have been seen across the NFL lately.
If the Browns do shop Garrett, it would likely be a gigantic offer coming back in return for the top pass rusher in the game.
