If it doesnt rain, Bowman Gray Stadium racing will feature Modified 100-lap race on Saturday

Bowman Gray Stadium racing will try again on Saturday hoping that the rain stays away for week seven.

It's been two weeks since 17-year-old Slate Myers and his uncle, Jason, each won Modified races. This week, there will be just one Modified race with the Elite Underground Utility 100-lap event.

There are 18 weeks in the season, and two of them have been rained out so far. With a favorable forecast for this weekend, fans and drivers are hoping for a night of racing.

Besides the Modified race, there will be two Sportsman races, two Stadium Stock races and a Street Stock race.

Last week's Sportsman 100 lap race has been moved to June 6 and that will now be a double points night. Also, on that night there will be a 50-lap race in the Stadium Stock Division.

Gates will open at 6 p.m. with the first race scheduled for 8 p.m.
