Argentina vs Honduras Lineups, Live Streaming, How and Where to Watch on TV
Argentina continue their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a friendly against Honduras on June 6.
The reigning world champions are aiming to become only the third nation in football history to successfully defend a World Cup title after lifting the trophy in Qatar in December 2022.
Despite suffering four defeats during their 18-match qualifying campaign, Argentina secured their place at the tournament and remain one of the favourites heading into the competition.
The first of their two World Cup warm-up matches will take place in Texas, where La Albiceleste will look to extend their current five-match winning run.
Argentina enter the match in good form after recording victories over Mauritania and Zambia during the March international window.
Honduras, meanwhile, narrowly missed out on qualification for the World Cup. A draw against Costa Rica in their final qualifying match left them outside the playoff places on goal difference, ending their hopes of reaching the tournament.
Although they will not be involved in this summer's competition, La Bicolor will see this fixture as an opportunity to test themselves against one of the strongest teams in international football.

Is Lionel Messi Playing Tonight for Argentina vs Honduras
Argentina captain Lionel Messi could make an appearance against Honduras, but a starting role remains uncertain.
Head coach Lionel Scaloni confirmed that Messi has returned to partial training with the squad as he continues his recovery from a hamstring issue.
The Argentina star has been working with the group and is being monitored ahead of the team's two World Cup warm-up matches.
"Leo is doing well. Leo trained for a part with the group, which is important. He's not fully separated; he's coming along," Scaloni said.
The manager added that Messi is expected to get some playing time in one of the two friendlies, though a decision has not yet been made on whether that will come against Honduras or in the following match.
"He may be part of the friendly matches, getting some minutes in these two friendlies. We'll see if it's the one tomorrow or the next one. But he's doing a lot better and that gives us tranquility," Scaloni added.
