Paige Bueckers Shouts Out Kobe Bryant After Wings' 4th Straight Win
Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers was ecstatic to play in L.A. and get the win for her team.
On Friday, Dallas recorded their fourth straight win with a 104-96 road victory over the Los Angeles Sparks.
Bueckers powered the Wings' offense, dishing out 14 assists to go along with 18 points and three rebounds.
During her post-game interview, the reigning Rookie of the Year winner talked about her experience playing in the City of Angels.
"I think it's just going out there having fun, playing with passion," Bueckers said. "L.A. and this arena specifically has so much history in it. It's a legendary building. It's just an honor playing in here."
The former UConn standout also discussed how happy she was, in disbelief, to finally be playing at the famous Crypto.com Arena.
She even mentioned how Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant was a big influence on her.
"Dreamed and grew up watching games here, was a big Kobe fan," Bueckers said. "So just really enjoy it and try to soak that in, just that I'm living out my dream."

Finally, Bueckers acknowledged her teammates for sticking to their game plan and carving out the victory.
"To be able to come here and win with the team that we have, to continue building with what we have, and to do it with this team and this unit and these individuals is special, Bueckers said. "So I'm very grateful to be part of this."
With this latest win, Dallas is now third in the Western Conference standings and just 1.5 games behind the league-leading Minnesota Lynx.
