World Cup Ticket Prices Spike for USMNT After Paraguay Route
Optimism is in high supply for the United States after a 4-1 win over Paraguay in Friday night’s opener for the 2026 FIFAWorld Cup.
Tickets for the next two USMNT matches will not be in high supply.
Despite already exorbitant ticket prices, a crowd of 70,492 watched the USMNT play one of its best exhibition of soccer ever at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The US will next play Australia on Friday at Lumen Field in Seattle.

Per ticketdata.com, the current get-in price for a ticket to watch the USMNT play Australia is at $1,908, and could continue to rise through the week. Before the US won its opener, the get-in price was $1,740. The final get-in price for Friday night’s game against Paraguay cost $1,437.
The rise in prices matches the excitement the host country has for a team that played its best soccer in decades.
The final Group D match for the USMNT will take place against Türkiye on June 25 at SoFi Stadium. The get-in ticket price rose from $1,448 on Friday night to $1,644, and has gone up 88 percent in the last three days.
The crowd at Friday night’s game was loud, and there was a noticeable energy shift after Damian Bobadilla put the USMNT up 1-0 in the seventh minute. By the time Giovanni Reyna scored the game’s final goal in the 98th minute, SoFi had long turned into a party atmosphere.
During his post-match news conference, USMNT head coach Mauricio Pochettino praised the fans for their support.
"They were amazing," Pochettino said, via USA Soccer. "On behalf of the whole team, massive thank you to the fans because the energy that they translated to the team was amazing. We can do amazing things if the fans are in this as well."
The fans will continue to stay in it as long as the USMNT puts up performances like they did on Friday night.
