Knicks Surpassed Historic Playoff Milestone on NBA Title Run

The New York Knicks dominated the 2026 NBA playoffs, going 16-3 en route to their championship title over the San Antonio Spurs.

The Knicks capped off their historic postseason run with a 94-90 final score in Game 5 of the NBA Finals, notching a 4-1 series victory over the Spurs. Before New York’s Game 3 loss to the Spurs at Madison Square Garden, the team had won 13 straight playoff games.

After a shaky start to the postseason in Round 1 against the Atlanta Hawks, the Knicks notched back-to-back series sweeps over the Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers. Many of those wins came in dominant fashion.
