Giannis Antetokounmpo's Preferred Trade Destination Revealed Amid Ongoing Rumors
The NBA has officially entered the offseason and arguably the biggest storyline entering the summer is the future of Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Of course, there have been many trade rumors surrounding the superstar forward over the past few seasons but many around the league expect the Bucks to move on from him this summer.
Because of this, multiple teams have been linked to Giannis in trade rumors but two teams have emerged as the favorites to land him.
Those two teams are the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics and on Monday, an ESPN analyst revealed which team is Giannis' preferred trade destination entering the offseason.
Heat Named Giannis' Preferred Trade Destination Amid Rumors
On Monday, ESPN's Brian Windhorst appeared on Get Up where he revealed that Giannis is focused on playing for the Heat next season as they are his preferred trade destination.
"Talks have intensified over the last 7-10 days. He has focused on wanting to be a member of the Miami Heat and because he's only got one year on his contract, he has some control over that," Windhorst said. "But the Heat and Bucks have been talking for months and have not agreed to a deal because the Bucks don't love the Heat's offer."

This is a major report by Windhorst as it appears as though Giannis has made a decision that he wants to play for the Heat next season, though Windhorst did mention that Milwaukee has not been intrigued by Miami's trade offers thus far.
Of course, the Heat have been linked to the two-time MVP over the past few seasons as they try to land another star player to pair alongside Bam Adebayo.
It has been reported that the Heat will likely have to include Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware and multiple draft picks in a deal for Giannis and Milwaukee has been hesitant to accept their offer.
Because of this, Windhorst reported that third and fourth teams are involved and could help Miami land the star forward this offseason if the Bucks ultimately decide to move him.
While that may be the case, other teams, such as the Celtics, could continue to pursue Giannis this offseason and offer better trade packages to Milwaukee, though the star forward will likely have a say in any potential deal since he is entering the final year of his contract.
