Angel Reese Shares Immediate Reaction After Dream Defeat Caitlin Clark, Fever

Angel Reese couldn't hide her delight after the Atlanta Dream defeated Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever during their showdown at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Thursday night.

The 24-year-old forward recorded a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds to help the Dream secure a 108-101 victory and avenge their loss to the Fever earlier in the month. To recall, Atlanta lost to Indiana 83-71 during their first meeting of the 2026 season.

Atlanta led by as many as 13 points, but a late comeback saw Indiana tie the game at 95-95 with 3:16 remaining in regulation. Fortunately, a 10-4 run after that allowed the Dream to get enough cushion to prevent a potential collapse.

Following the win, Reese was quick to celebrate. She took to social media to express her delight, writing, "DUBSSS IN THE CHATTTT."

Reese has every reason to be happy, that's for sure. After all, the Dream improved to 10-4 on the season, keeping them in the top four in the WNBA standings.

Furthermore, Reese got her second win against Clark as a professional. Entering the game, the Dream star was trailing 5-1 against the Fever playmaker. Reese was also on a four-game losing streak in her head-to-head matchups against Clark, with her last win coming way back 2024 during their rookie seasons.

Clark did impress against the Dream with 26 points and seven assists, but at the end of the day, it was Reese who got the last laugh.

Reese will have another chance to pick up one more win against Clark and the Fever when they meet again on Saturday, this time on Atlanta's home court.
