Scotland vs. Morocco Player Ratings: Man of the Match, Winners and Disappointments
In their second game of the 2026 World Cup, Morocco defeated Scotland 1-0 at the Boston Stadium.
Morocco is at the top of Group C with four points after the win over Scotland. They have yet to qualify for the knockout stage, but they seemed destined to play in the next round.
Morocco's final game of the group stage will be against Haiti next week, while Scotland plays Brazil next week.
Who Scores For Morocco?
Morocco scored in the 2nd minute of the match through a lethal striker from the striker of the team, Ismael Saibari of PSV. The Moroccan player normally plays as an attacking midfielder but has been placed as the focal point of the Moroccan front line.

This is his second goal of the 2026 World Cup after scoring the opener against Brazil last week, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
The winner of the match would be Morocco's midfield, which constantly pressed Scotland and created chances. Their fluid football was very attractive to watch, but the disappointment was that they were unable to find the final pass for a shot on target.
Morocco could have won this match by more than one goal, and Scotland had chances where they could've grabbed a goal back.
