Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute infielder Houston Rector has been named to the 2026 National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Baseball All-America Second Team Presented by Netting Professionals following a standout sophomore season.

Rector was one of the nation's top offensive performers in 2026, batting .396 with a .556 on-base percentage. He recorded 12 home runs, 14 doubles, and 38 runs batted in while helping lead the Cobras to one of the most successful seasons in program history.

In addition to his All-America selection, Rector was named a First-Team All-Region 10 Division III performer and was recognized as the Region 10 Division III Player of the Year.

Behind Rector's leadership and production, the Cobras finished the season with a 36-16 overall record, capturing both the Region 10 Division III Championship and the Mid-Atlantic District Championship. CCC&TI advanced to the NJCAA Division III Baseball World Series for just the second time in program history.

Rector becomes the ninth NJCAA All-American in program history in the Cobras' six seasons of intercollegiate baseball competition.
