Capsule: ECU heads to Central Florida

UCF’s strength: The Knights haven’t won this year, so their mission at this point is to knock the Pirates out of bowl contention.

Key theme: ECU needs to win its final two games to be bowl eligible. Coming off a bye after playing 10 straight weeks, the Pirates aim to end a three-game losing streak in the American Athletic Conference matchup and avoid their first losing regular season since 2011. ECU will close the regular season at home against Cincinnati on Nov. 28 at noon.
