College football players get one more chance to explore moves to new schools as the NCAA transfer portal’s spring window opens on Wednesday.

It’s a shorter time frame for players to file their intentions with their current schools and the NCAA as a whole. The spring window is only open for new entries from April 15-25. Players don’t have to choose their new schools during this period, it’s only the time when they can begin the process.

This is the last chance for football players to make moves prior to the season starting in August. This shorter window will allow coaches to set their rosters for the upcoming season sooner.

It could actually be the final spring transfer portal window, if college football coaches get their wish. Their national organization has proposed one January transfer window, rather than the two (December and April) that currently exist.

Check back here for regular updates on NC State, North Carolina, Duke and Wake Forest roster movements.
