Troy Austin, Duke’s newly named deputy director of athletics for development, joins the N&O’s Steve Wiseman to discuss the Blue Devils’ needs in an era where facilities upgrades are a constant in college athletics. A former Duke football player, Austin’s new job is as Duke’s top athletics department fundraiser, working with the school’s Iron Dukes boosters.
