The race for who is most likely to face off against No. 4 Florida State in the ACC championship will take an important turn on Saturday.

No. 20 Duke and No. 18 Louisville both face an uphill battle to catch the unbeaten Seminoles in the ACC regular-season race. But both have a great shot to play Florida State in the ACC title game provided the Seminoles win the regular season as expected.

Duke plays at Louisville at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in a game between two teams with only one league loss.

But both the Blue Devils (5-2, 2-1 ACC) and the Cardinals (6-1, 3-1 ACC) could be without key players for their offenses.

Duke quarterback Riley Leonard remains hobbled by a high-ankle sprain he suffered on Sept. 30 against Notre Dame and aggravated in Saturday’s 38-20 loss at Florida State (7-0, 5-0 ACC). Meanwhile, Louisville running back Jawhar Jordan is dealing with a hamstring injury that limited him to two carries in the Cardinals’ 38-21 loss at Pittsburgh on Oct. 14.
