Duke hasn’t stopped adding to its basketball roster for next season.

Jacob Theodosiou announced Saturday on his Instagram page that he would transfer to the Blue Devils after two seasons at Loyola Maryland.

The 6-4 guard averaged 13.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game for the Greyhounds last season. The Waterloo, Ontario, native began his college career at Wyoming but transferred to Loyola after playing 10 games.

Theodosiou, a rising senior, becomes the third portal entry to join the Duke program for the 2026-27 season. The Blue Devils have commitments from guard John Blackwell, who averaged 19 points at Wisconsin last season, and forward Drew Scharnowski from Belmont.

Theodosiou will add further depth and experience to a backcourt that will have Blackwell, Cayden Boozer, Caleb Foster and incoming freshmen Deron Rippey Jr., and Bryson Howard.

The Blue Devils had two players transfer after the season: forward Nikolas Khamenia to Connecticut and guard Darren Harris to Indiana.

Theodosiou led the Patriot League in steals as a sophomore at Loyola, starting 31 games and scoring a career-high 32 points against Colgate, hitting six 3-pointers. He had a season-high 27 points against Fairfield this past season, and had 18 points and 10 assists against Coppin State.

Theodosiou played high school ball at Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio, and was rated a top-200 recruit as a senior and played for Team Canada internationally.
