Observations
In case the below .500 record didn’t give it away, Georgia Southern isn’t exactly a formidable squad (and two of the Eagles’ three wins came against non-NCAA teams). According to Ken Pomeroy’s rankings, Georgia Southern ranks 299th out of 351 Division I teams. Among Duke opponents, only Bryant (319) ranks lower, and the Blue Devils beat them by a 113-75 margin.
