Observations
In the aftermath of the 77-75 overtime loss to Utah on Dec. 19, junior captain Matt Jones said Duke’s holiday break was coming at a good time.
“Definitely. For the guys to just go see their families, friends, familiar faces, get refreshed, come back and just know that we can build off of this game,” he said. “Learn from it, because obviously none of us like the feeling that we have right now. But we’ve just got to continue to fight. I feel like going home and refreshing ourselves will help us with that.”
Starting with the Elon game, it’s go time until the end of the NCAA tournament.
