Matt Jones, the Duke junior guard, won’t be playing Saturday at No. 18 Louisville after spraining his left ankle.

Jones landed awkwardly in the first half of the Blue Devils’ 74-73 win over North Carolina on Wednesday. He left the game and eventually went to the locker room before returning to the bench with crutches.

X-rays were negative and an MRI confirmed the sprain, according to a Duke press release.

Jones averages 11.2 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. He’s been playing 32.7 minutes per game.
