Observations
Pittsburgh views its depth as one of its strengths. The Panthers have 11 players they feel comfortable playing, but the game rotation is usually nine deep depending on matchups...Pitt, a bubble team, is still searching for its first signature win. The Panthers are 0-6 against teams ranked at the time of the game. Pitt did beat now No. 23 Notre Dame 86-82 on Jan. 9, but the Fighting Irish will likely fall out of the polls after a blowout loss at Florida State Saturday.
