N.C. State football coach Dave Doeren landed another local commitment on Saturday, this time from Tim McKay, a junior guard from Wakefield High School.

McKay, a three-star prospect in the Class of 2019, announced on Twitter Saturday night that he had committed to the Wolfpack, and thanked the other coaches who had recruited him. McKay also had offers from Duke and Charlotte.

McKay will be joining his older brother, Matt, a freshman quarterback for the Wolfpack.

The younger McKay is the 26th best player in the state and the 18th ranked offensive guard in the Class of 2019. During the December early signing day, Doeren signed six players from Wake County.
