Despite having never stepped foot on campus for an official visit, Ernest Ross verbally committed to N.C. State.

Ross took a virtual tour and was sold, committing to Kevin Keatts and the Wolfpack on Sunday night. He’s the second class of 2021 commitment for N.C. State. Ross joins Farmville Central’s Terquavion Smith as the two players committed to Keatts in next year’s class.

Ross (6-foot-9, 210 pounds) comes from Alachua, Fla., and is a four-star prospect. He’s the No. 3 player in the state and the No. 11 power forward in the country. Ross is ranked No. 43 overall in the nation.

Ross picked N.C. State over Florida, LSU, Oklahoma State and Ole Miss.
