N.C. State came from behind to defeat Notre Dame in the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament, Saturday, March 26, 2022.
The Wolfpack’s Raina Perez came up with a steal and layup with eight seconds left, and two clutch free throws in the closing seconds to clinch a 66-63 come-from-behind win.
N.C. State advances to the Elite Eight for the first time in school history. They will face the winner of Indiana and UConn.
