N.C. State returns to ACC competition this weekend after a Week 8 bye, hosting Clemson for homecoming.

ESPN analytics give the Tigers a 75.6% chance of winning, but Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney announced Wednesday morning that the team will be without safety RJ Mickens after having his appendix removed. Wide receiver Antonio Williams will also miss the game.

Mickens contributed 32 tackles, 2.5 TFL and 3 passes defended this season. The senior recorded 17 total tackles in the last two games alone.

Williams has 192 receiving yards and 2 TDs in four appearances.

Clemson leads the all-time series 29-60-1. The Tigers won the 2022 matchup, 30-20, at Memorial Stadium. The Wolfpack, however, won the 2021 game – the last time Clemson came to Raleigh – 27-21 in double overtime.
