N.C. State defeated North Carolina in the season finale for both teams at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, NC on Sarturday, Nov. 25, 2023, marking three straight wins for the Wolfpack over their rivals from Chapel Hill.

The Wolfpack and the Tar Heels both came in 8-3, and N.C. State, behind great performances from quarterback Brennan Armstrong and linebacker Payton Wilson dominated North Carolina. UNC quarterback Drake Maye was the lone offensive spark for the Tar Heels, but finished with three turnovers.
