Watch NC State coach Will Wade rant when asked about Darrion Williams
N.C. State coach Will Wade angrily defended star forward Darrion Williams who had eight points on 3-12 shooting in the Wolfpack’s 70-57 win over Wake Forest, Wednesday in Raleigh. Wade got hot when podcaster Joe Giglio asked about the “concern level” of Williams’ play might be and vigorously emphasized that Williams’ other contributions were key to the Wolfpack’s win, saying, “I’m tired of hearing about freaking Darrion.”
Williams hit no shots from the field in the team’s Dec. 21 win over Ole Miss.
