Observations
The numbers for forward Rafael Maia, a graduate transfer from Brown, don’t look like much but his addition to the lineup has allowed stars Michael Young and Jamel Artis to play their natural positions. Young, who’s probably a “3” in the NBA, has benefitted the most. His scoring average has gone up by more than 4.0 points per game and he no longer has to defend the “5” spot.
