Observations
N.C. State beat the Fighting Irish on the road in 2014 (77-70) and lost to them last year at home in overtime (81-78). Mike Brey’s team, which won the ACC title last year, is on track for a return trip to the NCAA tournament. Brey, a former Duke assistant, has the Irish 4-0 against ACC teams from North Carolina.
