Theo Pinson scores career-high 23 points in win
North Carolina senior Theo Pinson leads the Tar Heels in assist, but the Greensboro native had his best night scoring in a Carolina uniform in a 78-74 win over Syracuse.
Pinson, who was one assists off from tying his season-high (7), had it going on the offensive end, scoring a career-high 23 points (9-for-12, FG) and six rebounds. Pinson was also a perfect 2-for-2 from three-point range. Pinson’s previous high was 22 at home versus North Carolina State on Jan. 27.
