North Carolina sophomore defensive tackle Clyde Pinder Jr. has entered the transfer portal.

The 6-foot, 305-pound native of Seffner, Fla., developed into a specialist this season. He primarily only played in pass rushing situations. He appeared in all seven games this season for the Tar Heels and recorded one tackle.

Pinder marks the second player this week UNC has lost to transfer. Sophomore receiver Khafre Brown entered the portal on Monday.

The Heels (4-3, 3-3 ACC) are off this week and will return to action at Notre Dame on Oct. 30.
