North Carolina

Want to watch the UNC-Pitt college football game on TV? Here’s how to find it.

North Carolina hasn’t gone winless on the road since posting an 0-6 record that helped usher coach Larry Fedora out the door in 2018.

The Tar Heels (5-4, 3-3 ACC) are staring at the possibility of it happening this season with its remaining games at No. 25 Pitt on Thursday and the regular season finale at No. 21 N.C. State on Nov. 26.

The Panthers (7-2, 4-1) currently lead the Coastal Division and mark not only the third straight game against a ranked opponent, but the second straight the Heels face on the road. Carolina lost to then-No. 11 Notre Dame 44-34. Despite the defeat, it was the best road performance of the season for the Heels’ offense.

“We’ve said it before but three games against ranked teams, two of them on the road in 13 days -- that’s a load,” UNC coach Mack Brown said. “So I told our guys, it’s time to grow up. It is what it is. So you need to handle it and move forward.”

Thursday’s UNC-Pitt game will be broadcast on ESPN.
