Clemson leads the ACC — but not by much
1. Clemson (7-0): One 58-point win is a start. Given the strength of the rest of the ACC, the Tigers are going to need the style points.
T2. UNC (6-1): If offense wins, the Heels will take the Coastal Division.
T2. Pitt (6-1): If luck wins, the Panthers will take the Coastal Division.
T2. Duke (6-1): If coaching wins, the Blue Devils will take the Coastal Division.
5. FSU (6-1): The depth of the Noles’ ineptitude on offense is staggering.
6. Miami (4-3): Let the coaching search begin.
7. Louisville (3-4): Should be 6-4 by Nov. 21 trip to Pitt.
8. Georgia Tech (3-5): The old “Block Six” works every time.
9. Virginia Tech (3-5): Sad way for the Frank Beamer era to play out.
10. N.C. State (5-2): One biennial Atlantic Division pitfall cleared, one to go.
T11. Virginia (2-5): Won’t be long before 2-5 turns into 2-10.
T11. Syracuse (3-4): Another close loss; Orange not going down without a fight.
T13. Wake Forest (3-5): A young offensive line is taking its lumps.
T13. Boston College (3-5): Just miserable team on offense.
