North Carolina's game at Virginia Tech on Sunday will begin at 3 p.m. instead of 6:30 p.m., the ACC announced on Saturday. The game was moved up 3 ½ hours “due to continued weather conditions,” according to the ACC's statement.
Blacksburg, Va., like other parts of the South and mid-Atlantic, was hit hard on Friday and Saturday by a snowstorm. The Tar Heels arrived in Blacksburg on Saturday afternoon after a three-hour bus ride and experienced no travel problems.
The game on Sunday will be broadcast live on ESPN3. It will be broadcast on a delay on ESPNU at 6:30, which had been the originally scheduled starting time.
