Duke women’s basketball to hold True Blue Golf Classic
The Duke women’s basketball program in partnership with Polka Dot Mama Melanoma Foundation will hold its 10th annual True Blue Golf Classic Monday, Oct. 23 at Croasdaile Country Club in Durham.
The tournament will have a slight change in format in 2017 as registration will open at 10:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at noon. There will be a cocktail reception from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by a dinner, silent auction and awards program at 6 p.m.
The Blue Devils are excited to partner with the Polka Dot Mama Melanoma Foundation in 2017, whose mission is to fund research, raise awareness and educate the community about melanoma. Portions of the proceeds raised from the tournament will go directly to the foundation to further this cause.
