Here’s what you need to know to prepare for a wild night of basketball in North Carolina:
▪ The UNC women open their season against in-state opponent North Carolina A&T at 4:30 p.m. (ACCNX)
▪ N.C. State hosts top-ranked South Carolina in women’s basketball at 5 p.m. at Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh. (ESPN)
▪ UNC begins the Hubert Davis era by hosting Loyola Maryland at 7 p.m. (ACCN)
▪ Kara Lawson’s first season as Duke women’s basketball coach ended after four games. The Blue Devils begin Year 2 by hosting Winthrop at 7 p.m. (ACCNX)
▪ Davidson, in coach Bob McKillop’s 33rd season, hosts Delaware at 7 p.m. (ESPN+)
