NC State football hosts open house

Wolfpack Nation will have a chance to meet the N.C. State football squad on Sunday, Aug. 9 at Meet the Pack Day from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Carter-Finley Stadium, with gates opening at 4:30 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

ECU: Individual game tickets for all of East Carolina’s 2015 regular season contests go on sale to the general public Mondayat 9 a.m.

ECU: East Carolina announced the names of five new members who will be enshrined into the ECU Athletics Hall of Fame at an induction ceremony on Sept. 25 inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum: Chad Tracy (baseball), Clyde Simms (soccer), Jack McCann (swimming), Carol Shacklett Johnson (swimming) and the late Dr. Jimmie Grimsley (supporter).

N.C. Central: N.C. Central was only one of two Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference women’s volleyball programs to earn American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 2014-2015 season.

Duke: After helping the United States qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games and win the gold medal at the 2015 Pan American Games earlier this month, former Blue Devil Stefanie Fee has been named to the 2015-16 U.S. women’s national team 21-athlete roster.
