Duke’s Gurbani Singh wins Indonesia Ladies Amateur Open
For the second time this summer, Duke’s Gurbani Singh won a golf tournament as the sophomore claimed honors at the 31st Indonesia Ladies Amateur Open Golf Championship at the Padang Golf Sukajadi Golf Course.
Singh, from New Delhi, India, posted rounds of 74, 74 and 76 over three days to win by eight strokes with an eight-over-par, 224. Finishing second was Ribka Vania with a 16-over-par, 232.
In June, Singh won the Hero Women’s Professional Golf Tour event in India to become the first amateur to win on the tour this season.
