N.C. State soccer wins in double OT at Davidson

The N.C. State women’s soccer team (4-4-0) picked up an exciting road win on Sunday afternoon, winning 2-1 in double overtime at Davidson. Tied at 1-1 at the end of regulation, the Wolfpack earned the walk-off win in the 105th minute when Jackie Stengel beat Davidson goalkeeper Kendall Thomas after a Rachel Cox through ball.

N.C. State goalkeeper Mackenzie Stelljes maded 10 saves in the win.

Wake Forest: Sarah Teegarden scored on a second-half penalty kick as the team defeated George Mason 1-0, at Spry Stadium.

Duke: The 15th-ranked women’s soccer team lost 1-0 loss at Louisiana State.

Field Hockey

UNC: The No. 2 team won 4-2 at No. 7 Albany.

Duke: The No. 4 team won 6-2 over visiting William & Mary.

Wake Forest: The team won its fifth straight, 6-1 win over Richmond.

Men’s Golf

Duke: The team finished second at the sixth annual Rod Myers Invitational.

ECU: The team finished fourth at the sixth annual Rod Myers Invitational.
