If you’re like me, you’re not OK with the fact that the MEAC is selling out for $1 million.
Yes, that’s right. It has asked its teams to forgo the college playoff to play in the Celebration Bowl against the best team in the SWAC conference, another Division-I FCS conference with Historically Black College Universities.
The SWAC shouldn’t be the blame for this. Heck, they don’t receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Football-Championship Subdivision playoffs.
Now “selling out” is my opinion, but my co-host and I explain why we are against the celebration, along with other topics like the Aggie-Eagle classic that took place Saturday, and N.C. Central basketball off to a tough start.
